A seasoned presenter and a regular guest on ABC Evening Radio (NSW & ACT), he's hosted talks and shows nationwide as well as TV appearances including: SBS’s Celebrity Letters and Numbers; Australian Museum’s Ramses and the Gold of Pharaohs talk series; TimeOut Sydney’s Arts & Culture Awards; UNSW’s SciFest 2024; and SXSW Sydney interviewing the Federal Minister for Industry & Science, the Hon Ed Husic MP. He is also the 2025 Pride in Basketball Ambassador for Basketball NSW.
With a background in Biomedical Science and Egyptology, combined with an award-winning comedy career, AJ brings a unique passion for blending science and entertainment.

Having performed across Australia, some of AJ’s most notable career accolades so far include; hosting the Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s 2023 Comedy Zone Program, being an Official Ambassador for the Sydney Fringe Festival in 2022 and being chosen as a Future Leader by Creative Australia in 2023.

TV & Film
AJ wrote for Season 14 of Gruen and Season 2 of Question Everything with Wil Anderson (of which his best jokes were vetoed by the ABC lawyers) and has also written for Matchbox and Wintergarden Pictures.
Playwriting
He’s currently working on a killer full-length play alongside fellow writer Bridie Connell. This political-satire, murder mystery explores intergenerational warfare, influencers and the rise of the always-on digital era. Keep your eyes peeled for season dates soon… #omgdead!
